Connect with MySQL Control Center

Hi !!
 
I just installed MySQL CC, in localhost it works fine. But I cant
connect it with my remote MySQL database (server).
 
The mistake may be that im not sure in the HOST field, please someone
helpme.

In novice in this, can you tell me how application uses to edit your
databases in your server (not in local).
Did someone uses MySQL Control Center I cant configure it to works
in remote.

Hello, im new in the list, im a VB 6.0 programmer, and im learning the 
MySQL basics with the Paul DuBois Book... i have a question to do... its 
possible to make a connection from an VB app. to a MySQL database ???, if 
its possible, how can i do it ???.

HELP ME trouble with instalation of Apache+php4+MySQL!!!!!

Hello, im in this situation:

i have a PC AMD K6-2 with 64 MB RAM. SuSE Linux 6.3 OS

when i compile the php with mysql everything works fine, but after y
compile the apache with this command:

./configure --activate-module-=src/modules/php4/libphp4.module
make

and after a few seconds this error apear

/usr/local/mysql-3.23.41-pc-linux-gnu-i686/lib/libmysqlclient.a(my_com

seems to be something on the library /lib/libmysqlclient.a 
what can i do ???
