Additional comments:

Hello, modules! Thanks for uploading your works to CPAN.

I noticed that the test suite seem to fail without these modules:

Term::Gnuplot
Term::Gnuplot
Term::Gnuplot

As such, adding the prerequisite module(s) to 'PREREQ_PM' in your
Makefile.PL should solve this problem. For example:

WriteMakefile(
AUTHOR  => 'modules ([EMAIL PROTECTED])',
... # other information
PREREQ_PM   => {
'Term::Gnuplot' => '0', # or a minimum workable version
'Term::Gnuplot' => '0', # or a minimum workable version
'Term::Gnuplot' => '0', # or a minimum workable version
}
);

If you are interested in making a more flexible Makefile.PL that can
probe for missing dependencies and install them, ExtUtils::AutoInstall
at  may be
worth a look.

Thanks! :-)

Hello, modules! Thanks for uploading your works to CPAN.

Would it be too much to ask for a simple test script in the next
release, so people can verify which platforms can successfully
install them, as well as avoid regression bugs?

A simple 't/use.t' that says:

#!/usr/bin/env perl -w
use strict;
use Test;
BEGIN { plan tests => 1 }

use Your::Module::Here; ok(1);
exit;
__END__

would be appreciated. If you are interested in making a more robust
test suite, please see the Test::Simple, Test::More and Test::Tutorial
manpages at .

Thanks! :-)

Hmm, I think focussing on the image/font dependencies in the name
might detract from communicating the module's intent. The module uses
only GD, and True Type fonts configurable by the user.

Perhaps Authen::TuringTest or Authen::TuringImage?

request for getting registered

2002-02-26 Thread root

Hello,

I'd like to register to become a CPAN contributor

Name:  Thomas Schuett
Email:   [EMAIL PROTECTED]
URL: http://home.netsurf.de/thomas.schuett
ID:SCHUETT

I intend to contribute a module CGI::Transactor as shown under:
http://home.netsurf.de/thomas.schuett/WWPnWWAC/beispiel/Transactor.txt

For more information about it please read
http://home.netsurf.de/thomas.schuett/WWPnWWAC/english/main.html

I am aware of the Module CGI::Application, but even if it looks similar,
it is not the same after all.

Also I intend to contribute a CGI program (so thats category "script"?).
Is it the same procedure?

Best regards,
  Thomas

PS: I have sent this mail before, but due to a local sendmail problem
I believe that it did not reach you. However, if you got this mail
