PAUSE id
Hello, I'd like to get a PAUSE id to put modules on CPAN. Here are my data: your name: Jouke Visser your email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] your homepage: http://jouke.pvoice.org your preferred user-ID on CPAN. : JOUKE a short description of what you're planning to contribute : Modules. Mostly GUI related as far as I can see now, but probably everything I find useful to share. Regards, Jouke Visser
Registration namespace
Hi, I registered the Win32::MSAgent namespace last week. Since the approval of my PAUSE Id went so fast, I thought this registration would be processed just as fast. But until now I haven't heard anything about it yet. I presume that since the namespace is not registered yet, this is the reason the module can't be found on search.cpan.org yet. Did I do something wrong with the registration or does this just take more time? Regards, Jouke Visser
[MacPerl-Modules] Porting wxPerl to the Mac
Hi all, First of all, I'm not a Mac user, nor developer and know nothing of developing/porting modules for the Mac. However, I wanted to ask you if anyone is interested in trying to get wxPerl to work on the Mac. wxWindows (the API on which wxPerl i based) has been ported to the Mac already (for more information, take a look at http:/www.wxwindows.org) and -as I am told- can only be compiled using CodeWarrior. wxPerl (http://wxperl.sourceforge.net) is being developed by Mattia Barbon and is potentially the next GUI for Perl. Given that wxWindows itself has been ported to the Mac, I would think that it is possible to port wxPerl to the Mac too. I would personally love a GUI for Perl that works on the Mac, X and Win32 and imagine there are more people thinking the same way. Cheers! -- *---* |Jouke Visser|[EMAIL PROTECTED] | |Perl GUI Geek |http://www.pvoice.org | *---* PS: Notice new mailaddress!!
