Config::Properties namespace transfer request
Hi, I've been trying to contact the author of Config::Properties, Randy Jay Yarger, for some time now but can't get in touch with him. I've tried these email addresses and they all bounce: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've also tried newsgroups, google, and msn to no avail. I've fixed some bugs in Config::Properties and have uploaded version 0.41 to my pause directory: http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-authors/id/C/CM/CMANLEY/ I'ld like to take ownership of the Config::Properties namespace so that everybody can download this version instead of the buggy 0.40 version. It seems that the namespace is registered. This is the result of my registration attempt: ERROR: The submission didn't succeed due to the following reasons: Dist R/RA/RANDY/Config-Properties-0.40.tar.gz, current version 0.40 has been uploaded by RANDY. Please contact RANDY or choose a different namespace. I don't think a different name will be useful now since there are people using this module with it's present name. Hi Brian, I emailed you before about this. When I try to register the namespace I get the error below. This is preventing me from registering the namespace. I have no SMS::Ringtone class, so others may use that as the root for their ringtone based module names. I have no class called SMS so that others may use the SMS root namespace as the base for their module names (for example SMS::MassMailer or whatever). My main class SMS::MT is meant to be a simple and signle interface for sending SMS's to any SMS service provider. Support for different SMS service providers is implemented by means of plugin modules (similar to the idea behind DBI and all the database plugin drivers).
