Takeover of Pod::Coverage
I would like to take over maintenance of Pod::Coverage. I would intend to port it to use Pod::Simple rather than Pod::Parser, and likely make other improvements. I reached out to Richard Clamp about this via email (richa...@unixbeard.net) on July 6th, but haven't gotten any response. I also posted an issue about this at https://github.com/richardc/perl-pod-coverage/issues/2, which also hasn't gotten any response. I haven't been able to find any other points of contact to try. Richard's last CPAN upload is from 2017, which leads me to believe he is unlikely to return to active CPAN module maintenance. Pod::Coverage is obviously a rather important module in the perl ecosystem. I don't intend to make any changes that would break compatibility. I've already done a lot of the work I intend for the module, which I released as Pod::Coverage::TrustMe. While that module is meant to be a drop in replacement for Pod::Coverage, the changes I would make to Pod::Coverage itself would be more conservative.
