File::Slurp Module Adoption

2018-01-05 Thread Chase Whitener
Hi Everyone,

I apologize if you're getting this yet again, but it seems that the
email I sent on January 2nd was swallowed up by the black hole of the
moderation queue.

This is to follow up on the request for adoption from November 28th of
2017 for File::Slurp.

Uri was emailed on 2016-03-07, 2016-03-30, and 2017-08-25. Uri was
emailed again with the modules@ list CCed on 2017-11-28. Another was
sent on 2018-01-02 to this email list with Uri CCed. This email is
being sent again to modules@. There have been no replies
to any emails sent thus far.

Since there do not appear to be any objections, I'd like to formally
request that we move forward with the adoption of the File::Slurp
distribution. I already have a GitHub repo started as a fork of Uri's
and several people ready and willing to provide help in the form of
code and guidance.

PAUSE Id: CAPOEIRAB
GitHub Username: genio

Thanks in advance,
Chase
