Re: Gearman-1.12
Hi Neil, thank you for permissions update. Unfortunately I still can't upload Gearman package because permissions for Gearman itself has only DORMANDO. See indexer report in attachment. Could you give me permissions for Gearman package? Please contact modules@perl.org if there are any open questions. User: PALIK (Alexei Pastuchov) Distribution file: Gearman-1.12.007.tar.gz Number of files: 33 *.pm files: 11 README: Gearman-1.12.007/README META-File: Gearman-1.12.007/META.json META-Parser: Parse::CPAN::Meta 1.4414 META-driven index: no Timestamp of file: Mon May 30 10:49:24 2016 UTC Time of this run: Mon May 30 10:51:02 2016 UTC This distribution name will only be indexed when uploaded by users with permission for the package Gearman. Either someone else has ownership over that package name, or this is a brand new distribution and that package name was neither listed in the 'provides' field in the META file nor found inside the distribution's modules. Therefore, no modules will be indexed. Further details on the indexing attempt follow. You appear to be missing a .pm file containing a package matching the dist name (Gearman). Re: Ownership of the "profiler" namespace [PFEIFFER: profiler]
Hi Neil, this is ancient. Years ago I have moved it to "package Mpp::profiler;". The same goes for all modules of makepp, which are now under Mpp:: On 2016-05-22 12:13, Neil Bowers wrote: > Hi Daniel, > > > I’m emailing you wearing my PAUSE admin hat: I’m working on resolving > conflicts caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively. > This has left us with some situations where people are owners of namespaces > previously considered distinct, and now considered the same. > > You have ownership of the “profiler” namespace, but you don’t have a > “profiler” module on CPAN. > This now conflicts with the “Profiler” package, owned by NIGE, and currently > on CPAN in the N/NI/NIGE/Goo-0.09.tar.gz release. > > To resolve this conflict I’d like to drop your ownership of the “profiler” > package. Could you give me permissions for Gearman package? Sorry about that. You now have co-maint on the root ‘Gearman’ package, and in the process DORMANDO now has ‘f’ permission on it, so can grant co-maints himself from now on. This required a DB update directly, so thanks are due ANDK for his help. Cheers, Neil
Re: Ownership of the "profiler" namespace [PFEIFFER: profiler]
Hi Daniel, > this is ancient. Years ago I have moved it to "package Mpp::profiler;”. Thanks — I’ve dropped your permissions on “profiler”. Cheers, Neil
