Chess::Games::DotCom
Hi, This module looks interesting, but could I try persuading you to rename it as Games::Chess::DotCom, or, if you must, Games::Chess::Games::DotCom? I understand what it means to be passionate about chess, but I'm not sure it deserves its own CPAN top-level namespace when there's a perfectly good one in Games::. Thanks, Simon -- Boy meets girl... Certainly from my point of view, Chess isn't a game!! Besides, the barn door is open, horses have left etc. --hsm -Original Message-From: Terrence Brannon [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]Sent: Monday, October 27, 2003 5:44 PMTo: Simon CozensCc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]Subject: [perl-chess] Re: Chess::Games::DotComSimon Cozens wrote: Hi, This module looks interesting, but could I try persuading you to rename it as Games::Chess::DotCom, or, if you must, Games::Chess::Games::DotCom? And there are Games::Chess packages too. It'd be nice if this could be resolved one way or the other, and I think that given chess is a game, I know which way I'd like to see it go. :) -- How do I type "for i in *.dvi do xdvi i done" in a GUI? RE: [perl-chess] Re: Chess::Games::DotCom
Well---actually, Simon, if you know of some magic where by Games::Chess and Chess:: could be unified without doing further damage to CPAN I certainly wouldn't mind. This 'name' fork was started for no particular reason and has sort of taken on a life of its own, but it is a little confusing. --hsm > -Original Message- > From: Simon Cozens [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Simon > Cozens > Sent: Monday, October 27, 2003 6:03 PM > To: Hugh S.
