New User register(WAC)
Dear master, I am Wang Aocheng, from china. My age is 19.I want to register a account for PAUSE. Name: Wang AochengEmail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]User ID: WAC or AOCHENG Namespace: HTML::PagingDescription: =head1 NAME HTML::Paging::SQL - HTML pagination with SQL database =head1 SUPPORTED PLATFORMS I think you can use this class in all platforms :) =head1 SYNOPSIS use HTML::Paging::SQL; my $hp = new HTML::Paging::SQL( all => [your total amount of the record data]£¬ num => [each page layout shows how many data it contains], sub => [the pagination number is shown in each subsection], ); my ($html,$start,$length) = $hp->NM( bicon => [setting down the icon that moves forward]£¬ ficon => [setting down the icon that moves backward], ); =head1 DESCRIPTION If you use the SQL database, this class can help you divide the page, support the subsection show of pagination numbers, it is similar to the way shown in the Google's(R) pagination. Under the minimal circumstance you only need to deliver a parameter, and you'll get the pagination result and can have the user-defined of icons jumping forwards or backwards. =head1 HOW TO USE METHOD =over 2 =item HTML::Paging::SQL->new([HASH]) For example,according to this way to initialize the class, you should at least deliver a parameter named "all",which is the total amount of the data you want to show, among which num and sub can be separately chosen to deliver parameters. The y each express a subsection of the pagination number on each page.If you do not deliver, num is the default for 10, which means each page will show 10 data. If sub isn't established,the result of the subsection show in page code will be closed; for example, sub is 4, you'll see the result similar to << 5 6 7 8 >> in the return html code. On the condition of a lot of data, it is of great use. =item $hp->NM([HASH]) This method can transmit the HTML code with the digital format, in this way you can choose two parameters to establish the page number icons for jumping forwardsor backwards. These two parameters are both bicon and ficon.If they are not set up,the system will adopt "<<"AND">>" for tacit jump icons. After executing this methodsuccessfully, it will rebound 3 parameters;the 1st stands for the HTML code of pagenumber,the 2nd for the limit first parameter in SQL,the 3rd for the limit second parameter in SQL.If the 2 nd and 3rd names stand for $start and $length, you can useit: "select* from table limit $start,$length". =back =head1 AUTHOR Wang Aocheng <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> English: Wang Zhonghua <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> =cut Thanks for your help, I am waiting for your reply. wac

Request for CPAN ID
name :Russell B Cecala email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] homepage: None preferred user-ID on CPAN: CECALA short description of what you're planning to contribute : I would like to contribute a Lunar Lander video game script written with Perl/Tk. This script requires Tk and 3 modules I developed (Vector2D Viewport and Clip2). I think this script demonstrates the ease and fun of coding in Perl/Tk. Thanks much! Continued Request for new account
Hi, A few months ago, I attempted to register for a new PAUSE account. I wanted to submit an XML related module to CPAN. After the initial submission, and a short thread about the module name, I did not receive a final response from anyone and my registeration process was never completed. I recently decided to pick up the process and performed a search on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] archive and found that my request was actually accepted, but I never received the welcome message nor my password (as mentioned in the archvied message titled "Welcome new user PASHA"). You can follow the thread on the mailing list archive by running the following search: http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/cgi-bin/w3glimpse/modules?query=pasha&errors=0&ca se=on&maxfiles=100&maxlines=30 Could someone please resend my password to me so that I can complete the registration process? Thank you very much in advance :) Pasha Sadri

Module submission Regexp::English
The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Regexp::English DSLIP: bdpOp description: Generate regexps verbosely userid: CHROMATIC (chromatic) chapterid:2 (Perl_Core_Modules) communities: http://perlmonks.org/index.pl?node_id=107501 similar: rationale: This module fits a suggestion in the Perl 5.6 TODO, and uses English-named subroutines and methods to generate regular expressions. It adds a couple of things that normal regexps don't have, like bound captures. As the idea has already been semi-approved in the TODO, and as Damian and I have traded ideas (see http://www.pair.com/pair/current/insider/1201/damianconway.html), I think it's worthy of including in the module list. I call it "English" and not "Verbose" because it's possible to write variants for other natural languages. enteredby: CHROMATIC (chromatic) enteredon: Wed Jan 16 00:19:04 2002 GMT The resulting entry would be: Regexp:: ::English bdpOp Generate regexps verbosely CHROMATIC Thanks for registering, The Pause Team PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=6300_c774fa70db5c804d&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=6300_c774fa70db5c804d&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
