Registration Request

2001-06-12 Thread Steve Hay

Hi,

I would like to register as a CPAN developer.

Name: Steve Hay
Email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Home page: N/A
Preferred user-ID: SHAY

Initially I intend to contribute a new Win32:: module which makes the
Microsoft Visual C functions _sopen() and _fsopen() available from
Perl. These functions are counterparts to the standard _open() and
_fopen() functions, but are intended for opening a file for sharing.
They provide a convenient means of opening and locking the file (denying
read, write or read+write access) in one go.

Module name for Palm Strip application

2001-06-12 Thread Dave Dribin

Hello,

I am considering writing a Perl interface to the Strip application
from Zetetic:

  http://www.zetetic.net/products.html

I am planning to use the Palm::Zetetic::Strip namespace for the
module. Another alternative is Palm::Strip, but putting the
company/organization name there gives more identity. Most modules
are only 2 segments (i.e. A::B), though. Opinions? Comments?

CPAN Mirroring

Oh one more thing - we're possibly interested in
being a CPAN mirror. Approx. how much disk space is
necessary if you guys are even interested???
Thanks!
