[Mjpeg-users] zoran/buz black screen

2003-03-03 Thread Jonathan Oexner
Hi all,
Sorry to sound like such a noob, but I couldn't find an answer on the list
archives. I'm getting a black screen in xawtv using the zoran driver. Well,
actually, the first time I start it up, I get a little sliver of dark video in
the upper-left corner of the screen, but on subsequent tries and until I unload
and reload the driver stack, the whole image is black. Here's my setup:

kernel: stock 2.4.20
Iomega Buz off of Ebay (in Mac box, but that doesn't matter AFAIK)
Relevant lines from modules.conf:
 alias char-major-81 zoran
 below zoran videodev i2c-old saa7111 saa7185
 options i2c-old scan=1
 options zoran default_norm=1 lock_norm=0 pass_through=0 lml33dpath=1
Relevant CVS checkout command:
 cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/mjpeg co driver-zoran
Any ideas? I'd really appreciate some help with this.

-Jon

Oh, also: I'm using xawtv 3.85, using the RCA video in connector on the
breakout box, and attached is a zip of the kernel messages that result
from loading the driver.

Thanks again,
-Jon
