The forum module in drupal looked rather primitive.  After trying it out, I
disabled the forum module and installed the simple machines forum from
http://www.simplemachines.org/.

Uh, not true.  I have two "MIPS" machines downstairs (yes, made by MIPS, not
sgi).  But, you are probably right that what he has are sgi's; mips didn't make
very many machines.

I find that for QA [1], using a double-barrel 10 ga. shoots lots of smaller
holes all at once.  This, of course, requires you to be running the SMP [2]
version of the OS.

[1] QA = Quality Ammo
[2] SMP = Shotgun Manual Pump

Sounds like a bad nic.  If you have a spare, you might try swapping with it.
