That's not enough.
As documented in the rrdtool pkg-readme, you must do:
/usr/local/share/examples/rrdtool/rrdtool-chroot enable

You should look under /usr/local/share/doc/pkg-readmes/, it comes with a *lot*
of OpenBSD specific information...

default ospfd.conf missing in 5.6

2014-11-12 Thread Marko Cupać
Hi,

I am setting new firewall on OpenBSD 5.6 amd64. I have noticed that
default ospfd.conf is missing from /etc. Was it left out on purpose?

If I am not mistaken, all services in base system should have default
conf included with release.

Shot in the dark... but isn't the problem you have sasl, mysql built with
kerberos from the past? Try to rebuild sasl, mysql.

If you overwrite /boot during restore, you better run installboot.

That version of SASL is from 5.5 and still has kerberos support. At
minimum, you forgot to upgrade your packages for 5.6.

Because unbound is in base now. See upgrade guide:

unbound(8) moved to the base OS.

Hi,
thank you for the help. I delete the old package and install the new.
Now the compilation ends correctly.

Hi,
with the current version and disabling radeondrm at boot, the resume works.
Without disabling anything the resume doesn't work.
The keyboard looks not responding, but the keys to change the lights
in the display are working
(Fn+Home or Fn+End), but no any response when I press Caps Lock, or I try to
reboot.
Disabling the radeondrm in the dmesg the keyboard is using wsdisplay0:
wskbd0 at pckbd0: console keyboard, using wsdisplay0
with the radeondrm there is not wsdisplay0:
wskbd0 at pckbd0: console keyboard
I don't know if this is normal or not.

The dmesg with radeondrm disabled:

Not sure I understand. You say "...the resume works" but then say a bunch of

It may be a week or so before I get back to it. Had to get it running so I
hooked up the printer to a spare Mac. When I do I will post the result to
ports@.

Thanks

New power management

2014-11-12 Thread Nathan Van Ymeren
Hello,

I'm running -current on a thinkpad x220 tablet, with an intel i7.

I had been running with apmd_flags="-C" but I see that that has been
removed.

1) For best battery life, should I just go apmd_flags="" ?

2) I've seen some mailing list messages about hw.perfpolicy=auto
and hw.setperf=-1 but the man page doesn't explain what these actually
do. Do they conflict? Should they be used instead of apmd flags?

Thanks

N

apmd_flags='-C' still works. You can also use -A, since they now behave
the same.
