[MlMt] KeyBings stopped working
Hello, For some reason all of my KeyBindings have stopped working. I had the Standard plus a custom set enabled. To troubleshoot. I removed the name of the the custom set from Preferences and just left the Standard enabled. After quitting and restarting MailMate, that didn't have an effect. Hi Benny, Not sure what it was, but I have it working as of this morning. Just a few days ago I had copied my plist files from my main machine to a laptop. Since the laptop was working, I decided to try copying the files back to the main machine. And that solved the problem. What is the exact setting now? defaults read com.freron.MailMate MmCustomKeyBindingsName Can anyone point me to thing I can check? The most likely reason I guess is that the file is invalid, that is, that something is wrong with the syntax. I use some rules that act on the Sent Messages folder (if the mail is sent from a certain account and and doesn't have specific keywords, then move the message to the Inbox) as there are some cases where I want a copy of the message and others where I really don't care. John, Form an earlier thread, here's what Benny said: I've also added a blacklist manager in the test release, but I don't think I've gotten any feedback on it yet. I'm not sure if that means it works well or not :) If you have an address entered in a Composer window then there is a menu available by clicking on the down-arrow at the far right of the address. This should show an “Add/Remove xxx from/to Blacklist” menu item (depending on whether the email address is already blacklisted). The same menu item is available in the headers view of messages displayed in the main window. Since MailMate does not (yet) synchronize the blacklist between installs of MailMate then blacklisting only works locally. In this case, deleting/removing the original email is still the only solution (or using some other way to copy the `Blacklist.plist` file). Hope that helps. -->Paul B. [MlMt] Using TextExpander snippets that include pictures
I use TextExpander a lot. Some of my snippets include pictures and are set up in TextExpander as "Formatted Text, Pictures". However, when expanding those snippets into MailMate, the pictures aren't included. And while I can copy and paste them in, that defeats the purpose of the snippet. I would assume it's done using the pasteboard, but in that case I don't see why it wouldn't work since both pasting text and images in MailMate should work. I'll bet you are on to something there. In TextExpander, snippets can be assigned to one of these types:  And pictures can't be included in Plain Text snippets. Ah yes, that makes sense. I don't really think I have any reports about it, but I guess MailMate could/should try to handle pasted rich text -- even when it's with attachments. That should work for both TextExpander and if, e.g., pasting rich text copied from a TextEdit document. [MlMt] adding an account in 5737
