[MlMt] Finding duplicates
Hi, I have a gmail account and a FastMail account (among many other accounts!). For a while, I was forwarding emails from the gmail account to the Fastmail account while keeping a copy on the gmail account. This, of course, led to many duplicate emails. (I've since changed the behavior to "forward to fastmail and delete on gmail"). I'd like to use MailMate (or some other tool) to find the dupes and delete only the copies on the gmail account. Possible? Best way to do this? Thanks! -JM ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
Re: [MlMt] Where is send later email?

Where is it? How do I get rid of the message? I could simply send it - but not knowing what it is and that it is 7 months old I’m leery of doing that. Thanks for help. Annamarie I have a Smart Mailbox I named "Outgoing" that is setup to track messages that I want to be sent later. Maybe you could find your errant message if you did the same. Not sure it will work but maybe worth a try. I have the Mailboxes for this Smart Mailbox set to "Any" of the following mailboxes: "All Messages", And then under conditions, I have "All" of the following are true: "Relay-Date exists" -JM ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

I have been trying to figure this out for a few days but haven't been able to put it together yet. -JM ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

[MlMt] How does the Select Duplicates feature work?
Hi all, I am trying to clean up a bunch of dupe emails. I was forwarding emails from an old email account (gmail) to a new account (FastMail) for a while. Now I'm trying to clean up my inboxes. Looks like I may have around 50k duped emails. I want to select the duplicate emails from the old email account and delete those, while leaving them in the new account. I used Edit/Select Duplicates. I did a spot check and MailMate *seemed* to be selecting the "right" emails (from the old account) but it's too many emails to check manually, so I was wondering how the feature worked (like what criteria it used to determine which of the duplicate emails to select) so that I could delete with confidence :) Thanks. -JM ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

I have Spamsieve off in MailMate on both computers, though. I figured it out: I have gmail forwarding emails to my fastmail account and deleting them on the gmail side, hence the deleted messages. And I wasn’t subscribed to all the folders of the gmail account on one of my Macs, hence the deleted messages only appearing on one computer. [MlMt] [bug] No margin in email preview
I noticed a weird bug recently. When looking at emails in the three panes view, the email preview on the bottom part of the window seems to lack any right margin, so the text runs right against the edge of the window and it causes readability issues. Does not occur when I actually open up the email in a separate window. I'm using dark mode on macOS 11.6 and Mailmate Version 1.14 (5818). -JM ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
