Thank you, Malcolm, Verdon, and John. And especially Bill for providing answers
I was looking for. I've been on the net since 300 baud, acoustic coupler
Arpanet connections, and get where you're coming from. I'm a lawyer and 80% of
my peers use Outlook with HTML email, and many have graphics in their
signatures. I'm essentially competing with them for credibility.
Good news: I won't be emailing any of you in HTML. My emails to this list are
in plain text. :)
Better news?: After testing and consulting with a colleague, I'm going to use
MailMate with Markdown. I will not specify any font in the email body. I know
you all prefer no HTML, but does this at least improve things? I figured out
how to make my current Apple Mail signature in HTML, and do have an HTML
signature. But without any embedded graphics at present.
One follow-up question: What does the Default Theme setting do? I've tried all
the Themes and my emails look the same, regardless. Thank you again for your
replies. ___
