[MlMt] Lines not wrapped in viewer
I get a lot of mail where MM doesn't wrap the lines in the viewer, making the message very hard to read. I have to manually scroll right and left for each line. The messages are multipart/alternative with text/plain and text/html body parts, passed through a mailing list. --Randall ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
[MlMt] New status icons
I updated to 58999 and the new status icons look gigantic. I'm using the three-pane view (mailboxes on left, table of contents on right, message view below). The column widths don't seem adjustable so I can't shrink the status column. Is there a way to switch to smaller icons? --Randall ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
Re: [MlMt] Lines not wrapped in viewer
Randall, I haven’t seen this wrapping issue in r5898 on any of my received messages. However, I do remember seeing the same in Mail (Apple’s app). I use a similar display layout - sidebar and two view (the View menu says it’s a Layout set for Preview at right, displaying html body parts). My settings (Preferences>General) leaves the following UNCHECKED: * Messages Folder>Indexed for Finder, Spotlight. * Messages Folder>Custom location. * Custom Key Bindings>Enable. My settings in Composer are as shown [in the screen shot linked here](https://www.dropbox.com/s/y48b6knhtdzf2z1/M-M%20Composer%20Prefs_Screen%20Shot%202022-06-22%20at%2009.44.23.png?dl=0). . Today, I upgraded to r5899 and will report back on the changes you related on your following message shortly. Respectfully, Henry Seiden - - Techworks Pro Co. Re: [MlMt] New status icons
Hi Randall, In MM v1.14, both Test Builds, r5898 and r5899 show the column widths in the Message window adjustable and the icons everywhere normal looking to me. May I suggest you try saving your settings, then removing and reinstalling the app and save your previous settings without having MM open? I have found this useful as a general cure-all, for settings gone awry. (There’s a How-to in the Help menu>Rebuild Database>How to transfer MailMate Settings…). I use this when installing MM on test builds of new MacOS as well as troubleshooting. Maybe Benny has other advice, but that has worked for me in the past. Good luck. The columns to the right are resizable by dragging, but the status and flags (two right-most columns) are not. --Randall On 22 Jun 2022, at 7:03, Henry Seiden wrote: Hi Randall, In MM v1.14, both Test Builds, r5898 and r5899 show the column widths in the Message window adjustable and the icons everywhere normal looking to me. Re: [MlMt] New status icons
Don’t know that I agree on the size reduction suggested. Work out something with Benny. Nothing wrong with text, just used as a reference on the size of the icons. I added a color to each account icons so they are differentiated by manually selecting them. Respectfully, Henry Seiden - - Techworks Pro Co. Yes. Since they are only one character wide, it seems OK as is to me. Respectfully, Henry Seiden - - Techworks Pro Co. Re: [MlMt] New status icons
It's not "one character" wide, it's the width of a glyph that in my display (using 12-point font) is about three characters wide. If the glyph size was reduced, the column would be narrower. --Randall On 22 Jun 2022, at 9:21, Henry Seiden wrote: Yes. Since they are only one character wide, it seems OK as is to me.
