[MlMt] Smart folder for Messages awaiting reply?
Hi, hopefully this is a simple question. I’m trying to create a smart folder to surface messages I’ve sent in the last week that do not have a reply. Is there a way to achieve this with Smart Folders? Thanks! Ben ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

The logic would be to include sent messages less than a week old whose Message-ID doesn't appear in any Reply-To or References headers in recent messages. I'm not sure if it is possible to express that in a MM mailbox, but you might be able to work out a way. -- Bill Cole b...@scconsult.com or billc...@apache.org (AKA @grumpybozo and many *@billmail.scconsult.com addresses) Not Currently Available For Hire ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

So, that’s what I thought too, but it actually does work, as long as I never click the “Include messages in any submailboxes of this mailbox” checkbox in the Mailboxes tab of the mailbox settings dialog of a smart folder that lives in a source. As far as I can tell, these smart mailboxes aren’t synched to the IMAP server at all, which is fine with me. So, what advantages do smart mailboxes inside of the source folder offer you, again? Re: [MlMt] Smart folder for Messages awaiting reply?
I use SaneBox to auto-manage my emails. One of its many features is a NoReplies folder - things in there have not been replied to. Once this is in place, a simple smart folder with ‘in the last week’ condition would give me what Ben’s after. SaneBox also auto-filters my emails in a bunch of different ways, worth a look Cheers Simon On 15 Feb 2022, at 3:19, Bill Cole wrote: On 2022-02-14 at 09:22:36 UTC-0500 (Mon, 14 Feb 2022 09:22:36 -0500) Ben Lee-Cohen is rumored to have said: Hi, hopefully this is a simple question. Re: [MlMt] Separate sets of smart folders for each account
All my smart folders are account-specific, so I want to locate them “next to” the other (not-so-smart) folders in my accounts.
