Re: [MlMt] Limiting Mailbox Scope to Current Account

This functionality is also very useful when moving from one email

It's how I moved from POP3 to IMAP (using Apple Mail IIRC).

Simple drag and drop, then let it churn as the messages come down from
the old source

and upload to the new one.

I should have been more clear in my original reply. The question was
related to the “Move to Mailbox...” interface and in this context it
would make sense for a majority of users to restrict the set of
available mailboxes to the same account as the selected message. If I
implement this then it would be optional behavior and *maybe* the
default behavior would change.

I had no intention to make such an option affect what can be done when
dragging messages.

Really? The standard iOS mail client lets you -- when you select

Select one, and then the folder within it.

It makes sense that the “Move to Mailbox...” interface would make it
easy to override any future option to restrict the set of mailboxes
shown. I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks, I was unaware of this!

OK, so it wasn’t clear that SpamSieve wasn’t installed, should I
be able to check “SpamSieve Enable” if it’s not installed?

It's not ideal, but it's expected behavior. Currently MailMate does not
look for SpamSieve before it's needed.

Is there any way to untag the messages in my Junk folder so I can
retag them and have SpamSieve add them to the Corpus?

* Select the emails.
* Disable “Message ▸ Junk State ▸ Junk”.
* Enable “Message ▸ Junk State ▸ Junk”.

This should trigger MailMate to tell SpamSieve about the emails.

Doh, “Junk State” is a toggle!

Thanks!
