Re: rss detection?

2012-05-15 Thread Thierry Renoux
Hello,

In order to see rss feeds on a page, you need to go to the address bar with cmd
l and interact with it, go pass the address and you will find several buttons
such as the "show reader" button. If rss feeds are available you will find a
"show rss" option.

Re: Getting Mail to behave the way it used to

The best way I found so far to deal with that issue is to press enter on the
message, control to interrupt voiceover so that it doesn't say the whole
sentence "... message content scroll area", then tab shift tab and the message
is spoken automatically. A heavy procedure though.

Re: Vm fusion question regarding usb braille displays

2010-07-24 Thread Thierry Renoux
I've done that. I don't have VoiceOver running at the same time as the virtual
machine so I avoid too many keyboard conflicts and the VM runs faster without
VoiceOver in the background anyway. I'm in fulscreen mode. When I plug the
display in, Windows (7) gives me the error connect sound. Are there known
issues regarding windows running in a virtual environment and USB devices? I
gave up connecting my Mbox2 USB using the VM because it was not recognized in
the control panel although the drivers were installed successfully.
Any idea?

if you want to download linked file in mail do option tab to find your link and
then option enter. it will download the file and open the manager. It might be
new in safari 5 as I don't remember the option enter worked in mail before.
