Why Should I keep Fusion?

2009-05-25 Thread Renee M Zelickson
Hello All:
I do have fusion and a version of windows on my mac book pro, but when
I upgrade to the next mac for a lighter computer, I am wondering and
considering that I will not put the fusion on it. I agree with all
that was said here about windows, and as frustrating as voice over is,
I would rather have it then a PC.
I am finding that I am not doing anything in windows anymore, and am
wondering why bother

By the way, If there is anyone on this list that uses Transmit, and
wouldn't mind me calling them with an issue I am having, can you
please let me know?
I cannot seem to upload a file and I am positive I have it write and
my ftp settings are correct.

Thanks
Renee Zelickson

reply re voice over frustration

2009-05-25 Thread Renee M Zelickson
First let me say that I have low vision and I use voice over with the
screen magnified by pointing with my curser what it is I want to have
read to me for most things rather than the key commands because I find
it difficult to remember the key strokes and needing so many fingers
tu make a command. I get frustraited when I try interacting with
stuff on the internet and making the computer read to me. The settings
I have make it harder for my husband to use my computer because he
strictly uses voice over with braille and having it set my way is
harder for him.
I understand the new snow leopard will be having easier commands
