No, however, you do have to let them set up an account, which is free through
your Facebook. The initial set up will guide you through this.

Re: Do Ray-ban AI glasses require a subscription? (was Solved: Meta Glasses on iPhone)

2024-09-05 Thread Brad Snyder
Facebook is not required to set up a free Aira account. While you may be able
to use it that way via single sign-on, it is not required.
Also, at this time the Ray-Ban Meta-frame glasses cannot be used with Aira. As
said by an earlier poster, this program is in early beta, but I wouldn't hold
my breath on it. I think there are too many privacy issues to be overcome, and
Aira puts privacy first.

2024-09-05 Thread meikle.aiden via MacVisionaries
Hi all.

I enjoy listening to Jazz music on my radio and record individual tracks
that I like.

Am I able to copy these tracks of music onto my Iphone and if so how do I do
it? Like drag and drop.

Best wishes.

Andy.

Ryan is correct about that.
I started the setup, but never finished. Now I have to start all over.
Have just been using them as bluetooth headset so far.
Obviously haven’t been using them much, but know a lot of people who have.

Re: Do Ray-ban AI glasses require a subscription? (was Solved: Meta Glasses on iPhone)

2024-09-05 Thread 'Janina Sajka' via MacVisionaries
You don't need Facebook, either. It's true you have to set up an account
with Meta, though.

If AIRA is coming to these glasses, that changes my thinking about the
glasses. I'm currently on the fence whether to keep them, but I'm also
certain I'd keep them if AIRA worked with them.
