Hi Lorry if your using sonoma you can use the sidebar and by interacting with 
the sidebar,  you can find all the categories,  like discover update e.g to me 
the app store doesn’t jump around like it use to! in previous OS’s.

Issues with Venmoe and Voiceover

All :

Someone asked me to do a Venmo transaction for them since they don't use it.

Looks like with Voice over, iOS 17.2.1, and Venmo version 10.32.07 you
cannot type in a venmo user in the search field with VO running. Voiceover
speaks and enters in letters and symbols that you are not typing.

You use to be able to dictate in the search field, but if you try, the
information is blank in the search field.

thanks. I’m glad to hear this about the app store. I’m not up to Sonoma yet. I 
usually wait till they’ve worked all the bugs out of an os to move up to it but 
that’s. something I can look forward to.

Don't wait. There will always be bugs. That is a given. Instead,
take the time to learn the changes as they come. Sonoma is not much
different from Ventura. It is very different from Monterey and previous.

   No I haven't but have bookmarked this. I should have explained 
further  and will do so now.


   I use blank bar codes in the house to label, for instance, leftovers 
for the freezer.


   Currently I use a device for this. But it is no longer available and 
cannot be repaired if it breaks down. Thus I am searching for an app to 
take over. It just simply needs to let me record a quick  message and 
add it to a DATABASE.

Over all, I agree it’s fine. Only issue is the Capslock key sticking, but other 
than that, especially on the m2 Mac, it’s perfectly fine. Did have some issues 
on my Intel Mac with apps hanging up, but that’s to be expected with older 
equipment.

that’s shat Way Around is, an app that lets you label things and then read them 
back. don’t know why they named it that. it does sound like navigation but it 
isn’t.

Do report this to them. When I’ve reported things to them in the past they’ve 
been very receptive to fixing things so it couldn’t hurt. Does it behave the 
same on all devices?

I have a different issue on Venmo I have one former Venmo friend who I can’t 
delete for love nor money as the saying goes hahahaha. When I click on them it 
gives me an error as though their profile contains nothing so there’s no remove 
or delete element to be rid of them. So I have to contact them myself. I’ll be 
happy to join you in reporting this issue to them as well.

Someone asked me to do a Venmo transaction for them since they don’t use it.

Looks like with Voice over, iOS 17.2.1, and Venmo version 10.32.07 you cannot 
type in a venmo user in the search field with VO running. Voiceover speaks and 
enters in letters and symbols that you are not typing.

You use to be able to dictate in the search field, but if you try, the 
information is blank in the search field.

Is there any accessible way to connect to a Windows PC from a Mac with remote 
desktop? I tried using Microsoft’s official Remote Desktop app on the Mac but
