dropbox on a Mac

2022-05-12 Thread Lorie McCloud
I'm uploading a file to dropbox and can't get any info about its progress. I
checked in menu extras but nothing there so I opened the dropbox menu but I
just can't find any info on the progress of the file I'm uploading. suggestions?

thanks.

Re: dropbox on a Mac

2022-05-12 Thread Herbie Allen
If you’re using an M1 Mac this might not be possible any more, But in your Menu
Extras, find Dropbox. VO Down and keep going passed your storage and all that
then you will find a status that will either say Sinking, or files uploading or
downloading and the length of time. Also, I was listening to Maccessability and
on the latest episode, they were talking about a third-party app. I think it’s
called Mistral or but don’t quote me on the spelling. I can see where this
might be useful for M1 users if still experiencing the Status Menu Bug.

Re: more about dropbox

2022-05-12 Thread Brad Snyder
If Dropbox is no longer in the menu extras area, that means it is not running.
Try restarting the app by going to the applications folder and selecting it,
then restart the app using CMD + O.
