Re: MSWord File In Email Attachment?

2022-03-17 Thread Julie Rattray
Hi,

Pages can open word files and it should be very similar to the original
document sometimes I get a note about missing fonts but it doesn’t seem to
impact anything you just then read it as a document - hope that helps but if I
have misunderstood your question get back to me

Restoring a file from Time Machine

2022-03-17 Thread 'Kristeen Hughes' via MacVisionaries
The music app suddenly replaced its library with an old version, thus taking
away a lot of work I’ve recently done. I am more than a bit angry. Is there a
way to restoree a previous library from my backup that I know was closer to
accurate? I have never had any luck getting the time machine restore process to
be friendly. Can someone help?

Re: MSWord File In Email Attachment?

2022-03-17 Thread Herbie Allen
If you prefer Text Edit or another program, on the word file, do Command I and
VO right to Open with. Keep going until you see a combo box and you can . down
arrow until you get to Text Edit or what program you want. VO space and VO
right until you get to Change All. VO space on that button if you want all
word files to open that way.

Re: keyboard shortcuts for playing rumble videos?

2022-03-17 Thread Chuck Reichel
Hi Lorie,
First of all I’am using big sur.

When you go to the video on rumble go to the top left off screen and find where
it says “main”.
Now VO space bar on it and wait a few seconds and the video will start playing.
To pause the video hit the space bar and to continue with the video hit space
bar again.
Thats why i figured that rumble would have key commands like youtube does.
So before starting on the quest for rumble key commands I figured that the
power users on this list would know about them. :)

I'm subscribed to a bunch of stuff on Rumble. if I follow the link provided I
get to an html page. I've been told you see the video player as the page loads.
anyway, I haven't been able to find "main" anywhere. the first thing at the top
that I find is the name of the video. I'm running Monterey if that makes any
difference. you're using Safari, right?
