Vpn and homeSharing.
Hi! I am trying to get my iPhone to remotely handle the media library on my Mac. I use the remote control app on my Iphone. It won’t connect to my media library when I open the music app on my Mac. This is very annoying so I was wondering if a vpn could block these services if I have a vpn connection on both my Iphone and my Mac? It would be so nice to be able to be in the kitchen and controlling my apple media library. /A -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Re: How to respond to notifications
1. Press VO + N, to select and place VoiceOver focus on the notification. 2. Press VO + CMD + Spacebar, to open the action menu for the notification. 3. Use up/down arrow keys to select the desired action for the notification. new icloud email account
Hi, In creating a new icloud email account, is it the icloud password that is needed? Each time I attempt, the sign in is not working so I click the back button - after changing the email address many times I am thinking that I have the wrong type of password. The screen does not notify me as to why the sign in is not working. Re: new icloud email account
Hi, Is this a brand new Apple ID account, or an iCloud alias to your existing Apple ID/iCloud account. If the latter, then it’s the same password as your Apple ID. If the former, then it’s the password you used to create the account. Re: Backup program fo rthe Mac
Hi Frank, Well I have not had much experience with this program yet, I will take a look at carbon copy cloner. It’s certainly accessible and my guess is you can back up to a specific folder if you wish. I did a total back up of my system when I got the program recently, but I really like it’s in her face and the fact voiceover works so well with it.
