Re: iPhone as a remote control for my apple TV gen 4?
Hi, I’ve just had to do this, b because we can’t find our remote. Lol! I don't remember if you need to download the app first, but I found the Apple TV remote in my control center. Once you have the app open and you're connected to your Apple TV, you'll find the usual buttons towards the bottom of your screen. Siri, menu, home, etc. If you want to you Siri, double tap and hold on that button and speak, then release it. This is how I turned on voiceover on the Apple TV, because it was not on. You'll find the directional pad towards the upper middle of your screen. Left, up, right, down, select, etc. That is how your move around the options on your Apple TV. I've kind of found the process cumbersome, but it works. HTH, Traci PS. I wonder if there's a third-party remote I could purchase. Honestly, I'm not super fond of the remote that comes with the Apple TV. > On May 12, 2021, at 11:43 AM, Chuck Reichel > wrote: > > Hi List, > Could someone bring me up to speed on how I can use the iPhone as a remote > control for my apple TV gen 4? > Thanks > Chuck > > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries > list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your Mac Visionaries list moderator is Mark Taylor. zoom: sharing screen without sharing voice over audio
Hi All, I'm fairly confident this has been asked before, but would like to ask again as I am presenting at a conference on monday. When I share my screen using keynote, I have to turn share screen audio on, however this also routes voice over across, which is not what I want. I can reroute the voice over audio when I present say on an HDMI cable connection, but haven't found a way to do this on a zoom meeting. Can anyone give me a pointer to the preference pane or whatever setting area I need to go to toggle this on? thanks, Yuma -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. RE: zoom: sharing screen without sharing voice over audio
Hi, it{s been months since the last time I used zoom from my Mac computer, so things might have changed a bit. As far as I recall, you can share your screen, but not necessarily your computer audio, so, you should look at the option share your computer audio and make sure it is unchecked. Best, Leo Bado. Got notification RE passwords part of data leak. Then lost notification before memorizing accounts in question. What to do?
Guys, While I was dealing with something else, I got a notification on my iPhone that seven account passwords were part of a data leak and might pose accounts to compromise. I clicked on the note but then lost it before memorizing which accounts were involved. I gather that dismissed or read notifications are gone. Is there any way to find out which accounts need passwords changed? I could only remember one by the time I got back to this. Any help appreciated.
