Best lightning to 3.5 jack for headsets for IPhone 11?

2021-01-16 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi list,
subject says it all!
Best lightning to 3.5 jack for headsets for IPhone 11?
I want to hook up a pair of sony 7506 studio headsets which have both a "1/4"
and 3.5 plug on it.
I guess the interface could even be bluetooth that I could plug my sony 7506
cans in to?
if they make such a device?
If not just a lightning cable with a 3.5 female jack on the other end would do
for now.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Chuck

Re: Best lightning to 3.5 jack for headsets for IPhone 11?

2021-01-16 Thread Steve Z.
Hi,
Nowadays there are a bunch of them out there. There is even one Apple lightning
to 3.5 Jack that costs about $12. I bought two years ago one Belkin that is
lightning to 3.5 and lightning so you can plug in your earphones to here and
charge at the same time. If I remember right, it cost me about $30.

Apple sell one for $9. It’s ok, but wears out if bent to one side too much.

Hey Chuck,
You might be interested in the Audioquest Dragonfly.
If you want to go bluetooth, there is the Earstudio ES100. Both of these have
a 3.5 jack.
I believe there are other such devices with a 1/4 inch connector as well.

I found RS a little tricky install, but I think I was able to do so by using
the context menu on the dmg file and going down to open.
I then put the app itself in the apps folder.
