Re: How to use Sleep Mode and tracking in iOS 14 & watchOS 7, Apple Insider

2020-09-29 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi Robin,

Just to be clear, I’m not saying it’s perfect. In fact, given that this is the
first release of the sleep-tracking feature, I’m sure that it can and will be
improved upon in future updates. I just found you rcomments to be a little
harsh, and even unwarranted. From what I can tell—which is limited, lacking
diodes and such—it does work well.
Cheers,
Donna

 Hi all,

Twice in the last four days the battery level on my watch has plummeted
very quickly down to the 10% level. Then, when I plug it in to charge, it
charges very slowly. The only way to stop the problem seems to be to power
the watch down and back up again. Anyone else seeing this?
 Thanks,
 Donna

What are you hoping for? Diodes that plug into
your brain to track your brain waves? Lacking
that, it seems to do a pretty good job. When I

When I first set my sleep schedule, I had in
mind when I wanted to go to bed, and when I
wanted to get up the next morning. So, when I
thought about setting the schedule for Saturday
night, I treated Sunday morning as being
contingent on Saturday night. I sleep in on
Sundays, so was more than a little surprised
when my alarm went off at 6:30.
â˜Ãƒ‚¹Ã¯ï¸ So, rather
than thinking about when you want to ggo to
bed, and when you want to wake up the next
morning, think about when you want to wake up
on a given day, and when you want to go to bed that same night.

You can’t say that anyone is an Apple fan. Because at the end of the day,
people use the right technology that is going to suit them. Lots of people are
on this list to talk about apple products but you don’t know if they are using
other products. I’m just saying, please don’t judge anyone because of their
comments.

I think my Mac is dying!

2020-09-29 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Hi list:

Should I be panicking? My Mac 2015 (the one with only one usb port) has started
exhibiting from odd behaviour.

I can’t work with t unplugged before simply cuts out. Thing is that when I plug
it in it immediately comes back on and shows battery level at more than
reasonable levels.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I’vebeen trying to transfer a play list to my iPhone and that nigh impossible
as I only know how to do this with the phone connected via cable.

Any thoughts?

Kerry

Re: touch I.D. and pass code

2020-09-29 Thread Lorie McCloud
I can hear part of the message but if it's a long one the whole thing doesn't
display. if it's only read on the locked screen it doesn't show up as "read"
and of course if I want to reply to it I need to go in there. a few times I've
gotten my phone to go ther by pressing the home button with my touch id finger
once then read the message, then tap on it and it goes there. but it's not
consistent.

No, I am not, but you could ship to California and I can install an SSD.
Otherwise you can take it to the Apple Store, my rate is $20 per hour. You
