Looks interesting, but how can I get to work with Voice Over running?

voice over problems just appeared

2020-06-09 Thread Ian Harrison
Dear all,
I am having problems with a couple of apps responding when using voice over
that were not happening last week. I am in the UK and my Nationwide bank app
and fantasy premier league app are now very flaky when trying to click on links
or buttons. Is anyone else having this issue or something similar.

I have done the usual hard resets, deleting and redownloading steps. It may
have started after updating to 13.5 but not sure. I have updated to 13.5.1 but
the problem still exists.

I have contacted Nationwide and Apple but just get the usual finger pointing
response. If anyone else can replicate the problem it would help me decide how
to attack the problem further.

Thanks
Ian

Re: voice over problems just appeared

2020-06-09 Thread Jonathan Cohn
I have not experienced any issues with links in the 5.1 update. I guess
these are apps and not webpages or even apps that act more like webpages
than like appshis? Do you need to be logged in to the bank when you start
seeing problems?

Zoom Meetings

2020-06-09 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries
Well now that there was quite a bit of discussion about Zoom that I
did not follow, I may be trying it soon.

Some basic questions. I will use Zoom either on the Mac or the
iPhone. Has anyone found one better than the other? Any tips on using
Zoom? Thanks much.

Re: Zoom Meetings

2020-06-09 Thread Lorie McCloud
it's pretty easy to use Zoom on either one. I have a Mac moini so I don't have
a camera or a microphone built in. if you want to participate instead of just
listen you need those things. also I don't often have my video on but if I'm
signed in there's a picture of me up there and that seems to satisfy most
people.

I use a headset with my Mac mini. A webcam is really not necessary.
