Sounds interesting, that???s the good thing about fantasy and Science fiction.
You can get as unrealistic as you want. Not sure I want to pay $9 for the

Amazon Prime TV when we signed up to our internet provider and I never bothered

Re: Transfer files with Finder

2020-03-02 Thread Brad Snyder
I’m not sure that dragging and dropping will work for adding files to Voice
Dream Reader on an iPhone. I recommend you use the following method:

1. Open a Finder window to the folder containing the file or files you wish to
add to Voice Dream Reader.
2. Select the item or items you wish to add to Voice Dream Reader,, and use
CMD + C to initiate the copy action.
3. Open a second Finder window or tab, and navigate to your iCloud drive.
4. Inside the root level of your iCloud drive, you should find a folder called
Reader. Inside the Reader folder, you should find a folder called Loader.
5. Using CMD + P, paste the previously selected items into the Loader folder.
6. The next time you open Voice Dream Reader on your iPhone, the contents of
the Loader folder will be added to your Voice Dream Reader library.

Sound Recordiing software

2020-03-02 Thread Angus MacKinnon
I would like to start attaching Recorded Voice Files to Catalina Mail Emails.
What Sound Recording Software would people recommend for Catalina? Thank you.

Keychain and ssh

2020-03-02 Thread 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries
While we're discussing keychain, it may be worth mentioning that, as I recently
found out, you can store your ssh key on your Mac OS keychain. The Mac OS
version of ssh-add supports the -K option, which adds keys to the keychain.

You can then edit ~/.ssh/config and add the following lines:
AddKeysToAgent yes
And an additional line for each key, as in:
IdentityFile ~/.ssh/id_ed25519
And so on for each key, if you have more than one.

I suspect I'm not the only one here who finds this useful.

Go to settings, find your name and double tap on it. Find iCloud, then find
the button that says Keychain off and toggle it to on. you might have to enter
your Apple ID password.

Hi, When you go to a website where keychain has your log in
credentials saved, you will see it ask you if you want to log into the website
using the username or email you provided then next to that you will get a
button that says log in with and it will say your username. double tap on that
button and you will have to authenticate with FaceID or Touch ID.

sure if it's turned on or not although I know I tried to turn it on once.
