Re: Watching and recording tv on the mac.

2009-04-24 Thread Jesper Holten
Hi Alex.
It is nice to know that you got plans for an accessible multimedia client that
can do recording and scheduling, but right now that isn't helping me. And alas,
I lack programming skills to help you out in the development of the programs.

So maybe there is not a solution yet, so I will sit down and cross my fingers
for better times to come! *smile*
Take care!
Jesper.

Re: Watching and recording tv on the mac.

2009-04-24 Thread Søren Jensen
Hi Jesper.

It's true that Eyetv is able to syncronize with a website and get the
program guides from the website. I've read in some danish forums, that
the website called:
www.tvtv.co.uk
should have some of the danish tv channels listed. Well, I tried to
create an account on this website, but I find it very hard to navigate
around on the website. When I enter my logon details in Eyetv, it says
that my account is not activated. I can't figure out how to activate
my account so I can sync my tvtv account with Eyetv, and I can't find
any danish tv-channels on the website. If someone knows how to
activate a tvtv account so it works in Eyetv, please let me know.
Best regards
Søren Jensen

Re: How to read a document continiously

2009-04-24 Thread Anne Robertson
Hello Jesper,

VO=a works for HTML documents, but you must not be interacting with
the HTML content. Unfortunately, you can't pause and resume.

I like GhostReader for long documents as it allows me to Pause,
rewind, fast forward and so on. It also works for most kinds of text
documents.

Cheers,

Anne

  Hello Jesper,

VO=a works for HTML documents, but you must not be interacting with the HTML
content. Unfortunately, you can't pause and resume.

I like GhostReader for long documents as it allows me to Pause, rewind, fast
forward and so on. It also works for most kinds of text documents.

  Cheers,

  Anne

Hello Greg,

You're supposed to be able to press the Control key to pause and
resume but I can't get it to work and neither can many others. Have
you got an explanation for this? I'd be really grateful.

Cheers,

Hi,

No question is dumb, but anyways here is the scoop.

You use "FN" + "Down Arrow" which simulates the "Page Down".

Thanks,
Alex,

Route the mouse to the continue button and click it with vo-shft-
space. I know it says dimmed, however, it can still be clicked
assuming you've scrolled down.

Re: readiris help

2009-04-24 Thread Justin Harford

He just said he can't scroll down and its because he's trying to use
the VO keys to do it. If he uses the mouse keys it will work. With a
laptop running two fingers down the mouse pad, on a regular computer
holding the button of the mouse and moving it down.
