Ouch Version 20151021 is here (so far only the alternate iso files). 1. Would it be possible for you, Walter, to lock version 20151020 for Lubuntu? 2. Re: [Lubuntu-qa] global rebuild of 15.10 release candidate in progress
today's global respin is brought to you care of these sponsors: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-settings-daemon/+bug/1436861 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udisks2/+bug/1508075 obviously the former didn't require a global respin but the other did, so they stuck that one in, too. to be clear (nio), i don't necessarily have control over global respins and no real way to "freeze" lubuntu, at least when the bugs affect us. if they don't affect us, usually no global respin is required. You guys know about the Ubuntu Community Q&A? It's part of the [Ubuntu On Air][1] program. The Q&A sessions are cool because they often highlight a particular Ubuntu-powered project, such as the recent one with [Erle Robotics][2]. Anyways, at our recent check in with the Community Council, it was [suggested][3] we do a Q&A to let more people know about Lubuntu. My problem is the timing. I'm usually getting ready for work when they're going on. Anyone else want to be the person to take Qs and provide As? If not, maybe I'll do it while riding my bike. :) [1]: http://community.ubuntu.com/help-information/keeping-up-to-date/ubuntu-on-air/ [2]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2qwnKhtATA [3]: http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2015/10/01/%23ubuntu-meeting.html#t17:51 -- @wxl | http://polka.bike Lubuntu Release Manager & Head of QA Ubuntu PPC Point of Contact Ubuntu Oregon LoCo Team Leader Ubuntu Membership Board & LoCo Council Member Eugene Unix & GNU/Linux User Group Co-Organizer -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
