TWO POP UPS TO CHOOSE FROM.
YOU CHOOSE YOUR DAY and LEt ME KNOW.
WE will not be able to switch the menu since I harvest early in the
day..


TUESDAY SEPT 24 3 to 6 p.m.

EGGPLANT
LETTUCE
RADISHES
SUMMER TURNIPS
BASIL
Any tomatoes there are

And any pick your own that is left, could be tomatillos or paste tomatoes
if we don't get to harvest them (not sure about cherries but we will see)
and flowers...all unsure just yet.

Also unsure of price because Idon't know how big the eggplants will be etc.

[LincolnTalk] Lincoln's Historical Scavenger Hunt - additional instructions

Hello all,
On behalf of the Lincoln250 Committee, we appreciate those enjoying the
scavenger hunt virtually and "around town".  It will be open thru the end
of October.  One helpful point of clarification is how to take and post the
selfie. Below find some additional instructions:

   -

   Point your camera at the QR for your location and click "padlet"
   -

   The padlet will open for that location, hit the plus (+) sign at the
   bottom
   -

   You will be taken to a page that says "subject" and at the bottom is a
   camera icon
   -

   Tap the camera icon at the bottom to take your selfie
   -

   Tap "use photo" and it will upload.  Then you can include the answer to
   the trivia question in the subject line
   -

   Hit publish

As you can see, Kim Bodnar reached out to me and got me going.

There was an error in the map, but she tells me that has now been fixed.

As for posting the selfie, all you need to do is click on the "+" at the
bottom of the web page you get to after clicking on the QR code, and you
get to a place where you can take your selfie, add some information, and
publish it.

I've done two locations so far and learned some interesting things about
Lincoln history. More information about the scavenger hunt and a map to the
first location is here:

For people planning to do the scavenger hunt, let me warn you that the map for 
location 2 is completely wrong. Where it says Baker Bridge Road, it should be 
Codman Rd. 

Also can anyone explain how to upload my selfies? I don’t see an upload  link. 

Otherwise, it’s been fun so far.

[LincolnTalk] Soccer Without Borders - LS Girls Soccer Pgrm Winter Coat Collection

Hello Lincoln Community!
 
The LS Girls Soccer Program is participating/volunteering in the Soccer Without 
Borders, "Small Goals, Big Change" event this Sunday September 29th, 2024.  
 
In addition to the day of volunteering, they are collecting M & W coats (sizes 
XS to 2XL) and hangers to donate to the Guinean Refugees.  
A Lincoln family has graciously offered to collect coats at their home until 
Friday night. The Berberian/Donaldson family lives at 144 Weston Road 
(woodpecker sign at bottom of long driveway).  If you need to ask any questions

Other opportunities to donate:  
Donation Bins at LS:  outside the front office and the athletic dept from 9/23 
to 9/27.
