[LincolnTalk] Water Department Alert - Water Main Flushing

The Lincoln Water Department will be performing water main flushing on 
Thursday, September 12th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm at the following locations:

  Lincoln Road
  Mackintosh Lane
  Spnea Lane
  Meadowdam Road
  Woodbrook Road
  Ridge Road
  Todd Pond Road
  Short Hill Road
  Far Meadow Lane
  Lincoln Woods

Flushing improves water quality, but there can be short term rusty water 
conditions as a result of the flushing. If you experience rusty, discolored 
water, please avoid doing laundry or using hot water until it clears. Flush an 
outside faucet for about 10 minutes or until the water runs clear.

[LincolnTalk] Tour de Codman - Deadline to sign-up is September 15th!

Sunday, September 22nd at 9:30am 
Tour de Codman for Kids and Families starts at Codman Farm and follows on 
sidewalks for a total of 2.5 miles to our chickens on pasture and then our pigs 
on pasture where farm staff and volunteers will give a short overview on the 
farm's sustainable, pasture-based agriculture. 
We welcome all ages and abilities - the route will fully be on sidewalks and 
bikes helmets are required for all participants.
We will end back at Codman Farm with cider and donuts.

I’m hoping to start a Girl Scout troop for Lincoln 2nd graders, and would also 
be open to a multi-level troop if there’s interest (2nd/3rd grade?). I am 
looking for a coleader (or a few); can be any parent or caregiver. I am hoping 
to start with just one meeting a month.
