[LincolnTalk] Mattress knowledge?

2024-08-24 Thread Dan Paul
Has anyone researched mattress brands and relative quality? And may I learn
from you?
I’ve recently gone through my second Jordans furniture mattress in five years.
I haven’t tried a model in the $5,000 to $8000 range (they have them!) nor do I
intend to. I’m just looking for a fairly firm model with very good edge
support—which is where mine have tended to fail.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

[LincolnTalk] Beacon Driving School

2024-08-24 Thread Peter LaFarge
Good morning LincolnTalk,

I’d like to introduce my new business located in Lincoln Crossing, Beacon
Driving School and the services provided.

For teens (16-17) who are interested in obtaining their driver's license I
offer the required Driver’s Ed Courses (15 & 9 months to 17), Parent Classes,
12 hours of Driving Lessons and 6 hours of Observations. I currently hold my
Drivers Ed classes on Zoom, but as my business grows, I will also offer
in-person courses (hopefully by this winter). Once your teen obtains their
learners permit (16+) we can start booking their driving lessons within weeks,
if not sooner. We can book driving lessons at a slow comfortable pace, or
schedule all 12 lessons if you prefer.

If your teen is already enrolled at another driving school, but has to wait
months to book their first lesson, I have a 12 hour driving lesson package
suited for them, which includes the 6 hours of observation.

Adults (18+) who may have been a bit apprehensive or even anxious about
learning how to drive, I’m here to assist you as well with Private Adult
Driving Lessons. Aside from learning how to drive, we’ll review the rules of
the road, the right of way and most importantly, dealing and overcoming the
fear of driving.

I am also available for Private Road Test Sponsorship at the Wilmington and
Leominster RMV locations.

I mainly service the towns of Lincoln, Concord, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston,
but I’ve also extended my areas to Lexington, Acton and Maynard… and for now,
even a little further. Contact me if you’re not sure about your town.

Please visit my website https://www.beacondriving.com/index.html for my Google
calendar's listing of Driver’s Ed courses (September 2024 through May 2025 are
currently listed). Package prices can be located on the Enroll page.

Please feel free to email or call with any questions.

Best regards,
Peter LaFarge

[LincolnTalk] ISO Stroller in Good Condition

Hi Lincoln Talkers,

Wondering if anyone has a stroller they do not need anymore? It would be
for a 2 year old.

Thanks for considering!

Try Garner Mattress-a local family business…the factory is on the North Shore,
but I believe they still have a showroom in Newton Highlands.
Great products and the company stands behind them 100%.

Good luck!

Speaking of mattress. I have a double bed mattress I need to find a home for.
It’s a guest room mattress, so hardly used. Does anyone know who might take it?

[LincolnTalk] Free: 7v7 backyard soccer goal

2024-08-24 Thread Liz City
Hi Neighbors!

We got this off Lincoln Talk two years ago, and now we're moving up to the
next size goal, so passing this well-loved goal along to other soccer
players. This is the size that 3rd and 4th graders play their 7v7 games on
(and of course, wonderful for younger players, too). It was too rusted to
disassemble when we got it, and that is still true, so you'll need a pickup
truck or similar vehicle to move. Let me know if you're interested.

Warmly,

Liz City
