I see its advantages. The reason why i'm more in favor of
lilypondblog.org is that i believe the single most important thing is
to have an instantly recognizable domain name.
But maybe i'm wrong...

I like blog.lilypond.org better than lilypondblog.org -- it makes it more
official.
