If you look at http://bugs.kde.org/db/40/4094.html, you'll find out that
they indeed didn't long to find the flaws in the ml-libtool :)

Is this flaw specific to the ML branch, or does the HEAD branch suffer
from this flaw too?

ANNOUNCE: libtool-1.3.5 released

The Libtool Team is pleased to announce patch release 1.3.5 of
GNU libtool.  A complete tarball for libtool-1.3.5 will be
available from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libtool and all GNU
mirror sites in the next few days, along with diffs and xdeltas  
from release 1.3.4.  In the mean time you can fetch them from:

Alternatively, this release is now available via anonymous CVS,
