Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Esperanto translation team administration
Hi Donald, first of all: please do not press reply when starting a new topic. It messes up threading. 2012.02.17 23:31, Donald Rogers rašė: I have been the main person working on the Esperanto translation in the last three months. The team's contact person, Michael Moroni, has not responded to my emails, so would you please give me publish and admin privileges so that I can edit the eo.libreoffice.org pages and administer the Pootle files (username donaldo in both)? I am recruiting another translator (maybe two) for the team. I just gave you rights on Pootle. Website admins (Christian?) should grant you appropriate rights to the eo website. But you may have to ask on the website list (or maybe ping somebody in person). I'm cc'ing Michael's two addresses (one from wiki, one from Pootle) on this message. By the way, you should update the wiki page too ( http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language_Teams ). Website list is preferred over ping, and also usually is faster, as then multiple persons can act. As there are no other publishers or authros for eo.libreoffice.org, I made him a subsite admin for eo.libreoffice.org (login using the email, not the nickname) If more members join, have them register, then ping the (website) list to have them added. ciao Christian -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to l10n+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

[libreoffice-l10n] French Askbot project
Hi Andras, all, It seems I've missed it, could it be possible to add French to the Askbot project please? Hi Sophie, 2012.02.18 16:45, Sophie Gautier rašė: It seems I've missed it, could it be possible to add French to the Askbot project please? Thanks in advance In fact, I deleted the French Askbot project from Pootle after consulting Askbot's developer (Evgeny Fadeev). The thing is, that there was an active French Askbot team in Transifex, so we tried to avoid duplicated effort. I'm chatting to him again now. He actually prefers to move all his L10n effort into Transifex and asks if that would render a problem for our localizers. So, would it? Here are the steps to proceed: * go to https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/askbot/ * click on "Sign in" in the header, and log in with one of the account options, or create a new account * request to join the French team for Askbot (don't know how, because I'm not logged in, but I'm sure you'll figure out) * once Evgeny approves you, you can start translating there. If you work in Pootle enough to consider yourself its user, it would also be interesting if you could compare these two systems from the user's point of view and share your observations. I'm sure that not only myself and Evgeny would be curious, but also the Pootle developers we have on this list. :) Thanks!
