[libreoffice-l10n] Join the LibreOffice Hackfest!
Dear Community, next weekend, from September 2nd to 4th, the first LibreOffice Hackfest will take place in the city of Munich, Germany. The Hackfest is the gathering of LibreOffice developers from all around the world, where experienced coders and interested developers meet and work on the code, fix bugs and implement new features. Plus, it is a great chance to see many faces from the community in the wonderful setting of Bavaria's capital city. Participation is free of charge, and the best is, we still have free seats available! If you want to contribute code to LibreOffice, or get in touch with members of our community, the LibreOffice Hackfest is the place to be! And for those not so experienced in developing, we will host a special session on hacking pasta. ;-) More details on the planned agenda and on the venues are available in our wiki at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Hackfest2011 Looking forward to hacking with you in Munich! [libreoffice-l10n] Thereof print ?
Hi, I'm having hard time to figure what is the meaning of "Thereof print". https://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo34x_ui/sc/translate.html?unit=5461990 It sounds too official English or a term of lawyers and not common English. But this might only be my language interpretation. A user reported this issue on irc but I would like to check first that he's not the only one to get it. Thanks in advance. I don't think I can reproduce the problem. Just checked on OS X and Windows, and I get centimetres on both platforms. Thanks, so I won't open a bug for now. Kind regards Sophie Maybe he was referring to the default column width in Calc, which is something close to one inch. (Actually 2.27 cm. One inch = 2.54 cm.) It seems to me more convenient (or less confusing) to have this an even multiple of the default units. E.g., 2 cm for metric locales and one inch for the U.S. (The default column width does not seem to be changeable.) -- André -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to l10n+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

It has the air of someone who doesn't speak English trying to imitate Shakespeare. Maybe "Print selection" ? -- André -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to l10n+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
