KX-T: KX-TA624 LOUD RINGING & EXTERNAL PAGING
Does anyone have experience with the Viking PA-2A? I have a customer that wants to hear the line(s) ringing out on their tennis court and BBQ area, and also wants to use the same speaker to allow paging into the same area. I have been looking at the Viking PA-2A, which says it offers the ability to page with available CO port. Any advantage/disadvantage to this, rather than setting up a 2nd paging group/button? I don't think the client wants to blast the outside unless they know somebody is there, although ringing will occur all the time, with a lower adjusted volume. Lastly, since this is a 1st for us, is a horn the only way to go, or will any weatherproof speaker do the job adequately? I was thinking about using a standard outdoor music speaker, to keep things looking nice. KX-T: remote call forwarding
I'm trying to set remote call forwarding to co on an 816-5 and TVS-50. The TVS does remotely set the extension to "fwd all" to the co. Calls from another extension to the forwarded extension will forward ok. Outside calls that reach the forwarded extension cannot be completed. The system tries to dial but quickly sends the caller back to the custom menu and terminates the forwarded call. Transfer is set FXA, but I tried FXD, FXWD, and FXW without success. COS in the ksu is set to allow fwd to co and transfer to co. What am I missing? thanks Charles _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
KX-T: TVS-50
Who knows the voice label number to change for a TVS 50. is it 488 or something like that. It has been so long since I have done a 50 I forget. Wolfgang _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
KX-T: Call forwarded Message
I've some something on my combo system of a KXTD1232 and a TVS50. When a call comes in when in night mode one of my ext. will ring, and when you answer it the system reports "call forwarded from the voice processing system", but there is never anyone there. What do you think I turned on or off to cause this? _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt

KX-T: Fw: Call forwarded Message
The extension that is ringing is probably the night operator. You probably have the "No DTMF" field set to Operator, (the default) so anyone that calls in will automatically transfer to the operator if they do nothing. Especially if you are not getting CPC from the Telco Provider. rd - Original Message - From: "Rick McCoy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, August 25, 2002 8:08 PM Subject: KX-T: Call forwarded Message > I've some something on my combo system of a KXTD1232 and a TVS50. KX-T: Re: remote call forwarding
Aha, problem solved. The COS in the ksu for the VM ports needs to have "transfer to CO" enabled. I had enabled it for the extension doing the forwarding, but not for the VM ports. Charles _ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
