what part failed?  I think I have a couple of pull starters laying

Roberts plane is a masterpiece! Can any one tell me if someone has bought
his plane? I am interested in buying it if it is available. Thank you for

I made my plenums from glass cloth. I the futer I will make them pobbably from 
carbon, this saves me more weight. I am A Sheet metal man but about the plenums 
I am happy made them from glass.

Hello David, It’s now based at St Elmo (2R5) just south of Mobile Alabama. We bought it from Bob about a year ago. You are welcome to come take measurements, pictures etc off it if you would like. I would try B&C they have a convertion to do away with the pull starter it’s 
not cheap I am sure

The donation was extremely fair and probably a little late.  But glad we
did it.

For me, I was thrilled to be there.  Get excited again about finishing my
KR and fly it there.
I will do my darndest to make that happen for next year.
Was great to see everybody - old friends- catch up and talk aviation.
It is hard to remember a better weekend.  Wish there had been more time to
catch up.
Didn't get a chance to have a long chat with everyone.
Thanks to everybody and I look forward to seeing you next year.

Jeff, thanks for the ride.  Had a blast.

 It is usually the Sprag clutch that fails.  You can order a new one from Niagara Air Parts in Canada.  After breaking two clutches, I upgraded to a light weight starter.  Much better unit, but read the installation video before you order.  Cutting off the pinion shaft inside the engine is not for the faint of heart, and you throw lots of grinding debris into the engine in the process.-Jeff ScottArkansas Ozarks--Sent from my Android phone with GMX Mail.
