[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1613134] Re: wacom touch screen does not recognize finger touch
Ok ... this took a while ... an a lot of effort, but finally it's done. The first good commit is this one: 3e9161bfe0482f26efeaf584d5fd69398c69313c - Dmitry Torokhov, Thu Jul 14 09:33:41 2016 -0700 : Revert "Input: wacom_w8001 - drop use of ABS_MT_TOOL_TYPE" A diff is attached. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1613134] Re: wacom touch screen does not recognize finger touch
@penalvch: Since yakkety runs on the 4.8 kernel this issue is fixed, and so it is with the daily build. I'm looking forward to a backport/fix for the LTS. @ET: I've done the kernel bisection on a fresh installation, so there is no difference between an old and a fresh installation. By the way, I never needed an inputattach command since the first installation of 12.04. Seems to be a different touch device and thus a different issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1613134 Title: wacom touch screen does not recognize finger touch Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: After Updating to Xenail, the touch screen does not recognize finger touch as input, stylus and eraser are still recognized.
