I continue my research in relation to that. Hello, after experimenting few days ago with Ubuntu 16.04.1, 16.10 and 17.04, among other problems I found that touchpad and Fn keys (all except volume control) doesn't work on my brand new ASUS G752VS. It is very hard even to try Ubuntu 16.10 and 17.04 because of the missing mouse pointer. This problem must be related to a video driver because if after installing one is capable to install Nvidia drivers - problem is solved. This problem doesn't exist both while trying and installing Ubuntu 16.04.1! (fail post) Then # sudo systemctl enable enable-touchpad Verify that everything is okay with # sudo systemctl status enable-touchpad There is also a patch on the forum ROG seem to corrects the pad problems, personally I do not recommend this solution, the tool is not open source and the author did not give any indication to that.
