[kde-freebsd] powerdevil and krandrtray problem

2011-09-02 Thread Alexandr

Hello!

Since upgrading kde from 4.3 to 4.6.5 powerdevil doesn't work - I can't
change power profiles and screen brightness. When power is disconnected
from my laptop, powerdevil changes profile to "Powersave" normally. Also
KRandrtray doesn't switch between LVDS and VGA in any way, I can do it
only via kde's systemsettings. Can anyone help me?

P.S. FreeBSD 8.2-STABLE, KDE 4.6.5

Thanks

[kde-freebsd] kde4.8.x with intel kms

2012-06-10 Thread Alexandr
Hello!

After updating kde to version 4.8.3 my system resets at the end of logon
process. The same issue is observed with latest kde 4.8.4 from area51.
I just enter password in kdm login dialog, my desktop appears and system
silently reboots. I'm using 10-CURRENT and xorg builded with
WITH_NEW_XORG and WITH_KMS options. There were no problems with kde 4.7.4.

P.S. Starting kde with fresh ~/.kde4 doesn't solve this issue.

Completely disable nepomuk service solves my problem on 4.8.4, my laptop
doesn't reboot any more. But on 4.8.3 this trick doesn't help.

[kde-freebsd] amarok crash

2012-08-16 Thread Alexandr
Hi!
After upgrading kde to 4.8.4 and amarok to 4.6.0 it crashes after
beginning of play mp3 file. Disabling Wikipedia and lyrics plugins
solves this issue. I think it the same as in pr:

No. I have another bug report, see attachment. And I do not have openssl

[kde-freebsd] suspend on lid close

2012-12-22 Thread Alexandr
Hi!

I am using 9.1-PRERELEASE with kde 4.8.4 on my laptop. I have configured
suspend action on lid close in my kde preferences, but when I close lid
nothing happens. If I set hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=S3 then my laptop
suspended, but my kde session is not locked. Could you help me?

No, before patching upower, hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=s3. After applying
the patch and hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=NONE, laptop suspended on lid close.

Hello!
I didn't find anything relevant neither at kde-freebsd@ not at
bugs.kde.org, it has similar but very old tickets. So to stay online I
moved to KDE Telepathy, it works fine.

[kde-freebsd] Device Notifier doesn't show umass storages

2014-03-06 Thread Alexandr
Hi, kde-freebsd
On my current with latest kde 4.12.3 Device Notifier doesn't show any
usb mass storages, except my android phone. It works some months ago.
Both lshal and solid-hardware shows all of these usb devices, so I think
it due to misconfiguration. Can you point me?
