Hi all.

Build of kdelibs4 from ports failed. All ports are up to date. FreeBSD
8.1-RELEASE. i386.

Here are last lines of CMakeError.log:

[kde-freebsd] kde 4.5.1-system soud

2010-09-15 Thread ajtiM
Hi!

Yesterday I updated to KDE 4.5.1 and it is not the same as before. Settings
which I had in 4.4 gone. System sound doesn't works and there are no options
for settings (I didn't find), some screensavers works some not...(it is not
important to me but...).

Any suggestions for settings system sound, please?

Thanks.

P.S.

I have installed phonon and phonon-xine.

[kde-freebsd] Folder view regression in KDE 4.5.1

2010-09-15 Thread Dwayne MacKinnon
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with file previews in
Folder View for 4.5.1. My wife has Folder View for her whole desktop
(replicating the Windows XP experience) and all the photos now show up as
icons instead of previews. I've noticed the same behaviour in my Folder View
applet both at work and at home. The previews were definitely working in
4.4.5.

Cheers,
Dwayne

i confirm this. it works in subfolders, but not on the main desktop...

The interesting side-effect is that if you set the Desktop folder manually,
with the "Choose a folder" option, previews work. But when you use the main
Desktop button they don't.

Think we should pass this on to the main KDE lists? I have a hard time
imagining how this could be FreeBSD only.
