Frankly, I think it should be common sense that one triggers the corresponding
CD job manually if one works on it. It's a bit annoying because one has to
wait until the build stage is complete before one can trigger the job. But
it's even more annoying for everybody else if one breaks CI/CD.

End of Year documentation sprint

2024-12-13 Thread Farid Abdelnour
Hey community

Join the End of Year documentation porting sprint effort to move from
Doxygen to Qdoc.

Very soon™ we will be providing Python and Rust bindings for the KDE
Frameworks and we would like to welcome these communities with a brand new
and crisp documentation.

Grab one of the open tasks
 and come join
us. We'll be hanging out every day in the Matrix room
 working on this.

Check out the instructions

on how to get started.

Hope to you there!

Merge requests don't run the deploy stage of the pipeline (which is the part
that failed here), so that on its own wouldn't have caught this either, the MR
would have been green and only failed after integration.

This is more about receiving (and acting on) Gitlab's CI failure notifications
I'd say. So if anyone doesn't get those by email please double-check your
Gitlab settings and if necessary work with the sysadmin team to figure out
where things get lost, as we see here it's essential everyone has this
working.

Volker

Hello

Just a fun note to this.

On the main kde.org page there is still a link to it.
At the bottom in Develop section
Inqlude Documentation - https://inqlude.org/

It redirects properly to develop.kde.org, but might be a good idea to
change it as well.

Best regards,
Juraj

Thanks.
