As far as I can tell (I don't speak Belorusian), the translation which has been produced (http://webhostingrating.com/libs/kalarm-be) seems genuine. If there's a catch, it's not obvious what it is. -- David Jarvie. KDE developer. If there's a > catch, it's not obvious what it is. Don't link that, as far as the gcc list is concerned, the translation is just bogus. I won't forward the mail here, but just search for: Re: 'The GNU Compiler for the JavaTM Programming Language' translation on the g...@gcc.gnu.org list. They even compared to google translate and that is just piped through it to try to look authentic. Remove any links to him, ban him (which is hard, as he changes mail addresses and names) Greetings Christoph -- -- Christoph Cullmann - AbsInt Angewandte Informatik GmbH Email: cullm...@absint.com Science Park 1 Tel: +49-681-38360-22 66123 Saarbrücken Fax: +49-681-38360-20 GERMANYWWW: http://www.AbsInt.com Geschäftsführung: Dr.-Ing. Are we that touchy regarding anything which > might remotely resemble some form of criticism? No, we cannot agree on that. Akonadi was created to handle all activities relating to PIM (Personal Information Management), including and most especially email. It's not that "once added [...] it became increasingly more dependent". That was the entire goal and design: make KMail's email support use Akonadi. It only took time because email support was harder to achieve than storing the calendaring, contacts and tasks and to-dos. Moreover, email required the creation of the SMTP, IMAP and POP3 agents, replacing the ioslaves that KMail 1 used. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago (AT) macieira.info - thiago (AT) kde.org PGP/GPG: 0x6EF45358; fingerprint: E067 918B B660 DBD1 105C 966C 33F5 F005 6EF4 5358 signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<

Heya folks :) everyone who is coming to the Desktop Summit and has not registered yet please do so asap. This is important. You'll for example not get wifi at the beginning if you don't and your registration on site will take longer. https://desktopsummit.org/register Cheers and thanks Lydia -- Lydia Pintscher KDE Community Working Group member http://kde.org - http://about.me/lydia.pintscher >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
