[frameworks-syntax-highlighting] [Bug 392972] New: AutoIt highlighting support

2018-04-10 Thread spm2011
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392972

Bug ID: 392972
   Summary: AutoIt highlighting support
   Product: frameworks-syntax-highlighting
   Version: 5.44.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: syntax
  Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: spammonster2...@protonmail.ch
  Target Milestone: ---

Add highlighting for AutoIt https://www.autoitscript.com/

Creating a new definition file based off the AHK syntax would probably be best.
Hacky workaround would be adding the ".au3" extension to the existing
AutoHotKey defn

[policykit-kde-agent-1] [Bug 398367] New: Authentication dialog does not accept password of admin user on root-locked Ubuntu-based system

2018-09-07 Thread spm2011
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398367

Bug ID: 398367
Summary: Authentication dialog does not accept password of
admin user on root-locked Ubuntu-based system
   Product: policykit-kde-agent-1
   Version: 5.13.5
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1
  Assignee: jrez...@redhat.com
  Reporter: spammonster2...@hotmail.com
CC: neon-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Neon user edition
polkit-kde-agent-1/xenial,now 4:5.13.5-0xneon+16.04+xenial+build64 amd64

To reproduce:
  - In a limited user account session, open software updates in discover.
  - Click "Update All"
  - Enter password of admin/sudo user

Expected:

Dialog takes the admin/sudo user password to unlock privileges.

Actual:

Dialog asks "Password for root:", shows Authentication failure when the admin
user password is entered. This won't work on Ubuntu because the root user is
locked by default.

This bug makes updating through discover software updates impossible on KDE
Neon (in a standard user session).

KDE 5.13.5

Still hangs after configuring kdesu to use sudo
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/sudo#kdesu) and entering admin sudo user
password.

This is possibly a duplicate of bug #389049

Screenshot of windows with missing decorations

I feel like this has already been reported, but I can't find an open bug
report.

In Neon 5.8 LTS User Edition (5.8.7) after login, the window decorations were
missing from any program that I opened from the Application Launcher. (see
screenshot)
Logging out and back in fixed the problem. I've only had this happen about
twice in a few months that I can remember.

By "switch windows" do you mean alt+tab / hot corner ? I'm not sure, I didn't
test that when it happened. I was still able to move between the windows that
were open.

Also, notice that the open windows weren't listed in the task panel when this
occurred.
