The number doesn't correspond. I make update enter pw and than all the apps disappeared and the icon in the tray stays. I try to make the updates with Muon and with Synaptic, but they said that another package manager is running and have to wait. Anybody can help? I'm sorry, but I had to say. These kind of people (open source, Creative commons) is different from capitalistic and consumerist people. Of course I want to make these updates and do all that appeared. I did it always. In this case, for some reason, the application doesn't do. That's why I ask for help and in the proper place I think. My distro is Kubuntu and the applications remits to here, but if I'm in the wrong place, just tell me. I click on it and a popup window appears and says how much packages and a bottom to execute the updates. The it opens the "Discover" that shows what packages and a bottom to execute the updates. And that's it always, and every thing goes fine. This time don't and after I press the bottom to execute the update, every information of the packages ready to update, disappeared. I forgot to mention that when open Discovery a tiny window appears and disappears rapidly that I have to open several times to write it: cgicon:knsrc Strange, no?
